RISE OVER RUN QUILT PATTERN (Two-Color)

I'm excited to be sharing another version of my quilt pattern, RISE OVER RUN with you today. If you missed my earlier post, you can find it here.

I first introduced RISE OVER RUN in this post from November though at the time I only had the quilt tops finished. I'm thrilled to be sharing the finished quilt and more information about the pattern with you today.

RISE OVER RUN is a beginner-friendly pattern made up almost entirely of HSTs (Half-Square Triangles), and includes three quilt sizes:

Crib = 42" x 54"
Lap = 56" x 72"
Twin = 70" x 90"

It is also a multi-variation pattern.

So no matter what your style, you can highlight your favorite fabric in a multitude of ways, and each version looks slightly different. This post is all about the Two-Color version; but you can see the Scrappy version that I created earlier, and hopefully I'll post about the Limited Palette one day.

The quilt photo'd here is the crib size Two-Color variation. I wanted to create some drama, and the stark contrast of Lt. Grey against Black was the winner. I used two colors from the Spectrastatic from Andover line, in colors Tar (Lt Grey) and Stellar (Black).
