Introducing MODERN D9P Quilt Pattern

When I first introduced my Modernized D9P (Disappearing 9 Patch) concept back in the Summer of 2012, I never could have imagined all of the buzz that would follow.  I have seen so many quilts made using my tutorial, some of which you can find on my Inspired By My Patterns Pinterest board; yet I imagine there are a lot more of them out there, just waiting to be discovered.

When I would teach my techniques at workshops, many of the students would request an actual pattern at the close of day. While a pattern was in the works, life sort of had other plans; though I'm pleased to say that it is done, published and finally ready for you.

So, without further delay, here is MODERN D9P.

The pattern has been written to include 3 different sized quilts:

Size A ( 45 1/2" x 65" )

Size B ( 65" x 78" )

Size C ( 78" x 91" )

You can purchase the PDF pattern from my PayHip shop.  The paper edition will be available in the coming weeks via my distributors.

The cover quilt was pieced by my Mom, Karen Daum using various black and white prints from her stash, and a handful from mine. The quilting was done by Rachel from Stitched in Color.

If you have made a quilt using my tutorial, or this pattern, please be sure to send me an email or tag me on Instagram...and don't forget to use the hashtags #modernd9p and/or #modernizedd9p

Thanks for letting me rave about my newest finish.
