As Stacey from The Tilted Quilt says about a Quilty Bucket List, "It's the quilts that we all have on our lifetime to-do list...that made you say 'Some day, I want to make that quilt'."
Do you have a board on Pinterest?
Or have Post-Its stuffed in quilting books on your shelf?
Or if you are like me; you've kept the list tucked away in your "mind palace"...hahaha
I thought I would share my Quilty Bucket List, or what I can remember of mine, even though it is ridiculously long [not as long as I thought]. Maybe one day I'll be able to cross something off of this list, who knows.
- Single Girl (inspiration BlueElephantStitches)
- Double Wedding Ring (old school version)
- Medallion Quilt (inspiration Carrie)
- Scrap Vomit Quilt (inspiration Emerald City from Marit)
- HST randomness (inspiration Pistols at Dawn)
- Kaleidescope Patchwork (inspiration Urban Outfitters)
- Improv Strip (inspiration Amy Smart or LuluBloom)
- Red & White (because these are amazing)
This is not to say that I don't have other quilts that I would like to make; but these are the ones that I continually swoon over.
What's on your list?
Happy Thursday !!
Great list! I especially love the Urban Outfitters quilt - very different.
ReplyDeleteI think it's safe to say the Quilty Bucket List runneth over! I adore the HST randomness and Kaleidescope Patchwork.
ReplyDeleteOh dear this is making my brain hurt....the pressure!!!! Def want to make a scrap quilt with 3 inch squares cause I've been cutting them out of my scraps for a few years. Hmmmm.....I'll get back to ya! Love your list!
ReplyDeleteA red and white, a triangle one, and a star one that might be wonky. I really should make a proper list.
ReplyDeleteI have loved that urban outfitters quilt for ages! And as for the Red and White quilts, I had just started quilting when the show was up and missed out on it because I thought it wouldn't be worth it to go all the way to NYC.... now I wish I had!
ReplyDeleteFlying geese - and would love to do Ocean Waves one day
ReplyDeleteI love your list! I'm killing two of your quilty birds with one stone with my Red and White Double Wedding Ring!! Thanks so much for joining in the fun and linking up with us during the blog hop!
ReplyDeleteHey Kristy - looks like we share an appreciation for red and white quilts! I linked to the same page from my bucket list post!! Sure would have liked to have gone to the exhibit.
