My Studio

I don't show enough love to my studio, so here is a shout-out. During the walkthrough, I fell in love with this space right at the top of the staircase. It was begging for some love and attention. As some may recall, this was how it looked during the walkthrough.

The floor was a mess of broken (but still glued down) crappy tiles, obviously someone thought it was a good idea to try and get rid of the floor and when it didn't work so smoothly, they just gave up.

Next is the same space, minus the tiny and unusable side closets and plywood of course a brand new Pergo floor. Doesn't she shine!!!

Here is my studio back in January. She is still in need of some attention, for starters a finished window casing and a coat of paint; but I can tell she is already so much happier then before. I swear I own stock in stainless metal shelving, I have 3 pieces in the studio (you can only see 2 in this shot) not to mention 4 more pieces downstairs in other rooms.

At least I have a place to quilt, sew, stash my supplies and of course use the computer (although you can't see it in this shot; because it's against the half-wall next to the staircase).

So, you see dear is your 15 minutes of fame.
